Ryo opened his eyes but all he could see was darkness. And in the darkness, there was a figure sitting down on a chair about five metres away from him. He seemed to be sliding his fingers down his legs and then his boots on another chair. The light from outside shone on him as if he were a star of a show.

Ryo got terrified and pretended to be unconscious.

It was their last concert in Tokyo Dome for the tour. After they made their way to their dressing room, the first thing Okura did was to lie down on the couch and close his eyes.

“Wooi, Tatsu! I want to sit there!” shouted Maru.

Okura moaned and wriggled on the couch. Yasu put his bag on the dressing table and sat in front of it and started primping. Subaru went to his dressing table, took off his hat and neaten his long hair. The rest put their bags on the floor and rested on the couches. But they could not rest for long.

“Kanjani8-san, please get ready for your performance. It’s gonna start soon. Make-up artists are coming in,” said their oh-so-awesome manager.

“Haai~” replied Hina lazily.

All of them started moving slowly. Except for Snorlex who was still sleeping on the couch. Hina went towards Okura and spanked his head.

“Ittai! Hina-chan~!”

And then Ryo’s phone rang. He scrunched his eyebrows, wondering who would be calling him. He picked up the phone.

“Hai, Tegoshi. What’s up?”

“Oh, Ryo. We’re planning to go for a vacation with NEWS. I wonder if you would want to join us.”

“Oh, sure, I guess. When?”

“It’s not confirmed yet. How about you meet me and we discuss about this? When is your last day in Tokyo?”

“Tomorrow.”

“Oh, alright how about I meet you at Mary’s bar at 3?”

“It should be alright.”

“Alright then. Thanks.”

“No prob.”

After the concert, Ryo decided to go back to the hotel straight as he was tired and had to meet Tegoshi in the afternoon the next day. The rest of the Kanjani8 members went for supper and planned to go arcade afterwards.

On his way back to the hotel, something unexpected happened. A man wearing pink hoodies with white printed T-shirt and jeans crossed the road in front of Ryo. He looked familiar. Ryo scrunched his eyebrows as he tried to look carefully at the person’s face.

“Uchi?” asked Ryo, alone in his car.

The man looked into Ryo’s eyes sharply through the windshield. It definitely was Uchi, former Kanjani8 and NEWS member. Ryo was smiling and even gave him a honk. He thought it was great meeting his closest pal after 3 years of separation. But the man just walked past, as if Ryo was a stranger to him.
